Trump continues to pursue his perverse ambition to win [16] the Nobel Peace Prize—now profferring "peace" plans for Ukraine [17] and Gaza [18] that would actually reward war crimes, and therefore portend wider war. In both cases these new "peace" plans [28] are merely sanitized recapitulations of earlier proposals—for the surrender of the Donbas and Crimea [19] to Russia, and for Israeli annexation [20] of the Occupied Palestinian Territories and "transfer [21]" of their indigenous inhabitants. Meanwhile, the actual winner of this year's Peace Prize, Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, is obsequiously pandering [22] to Trump, and playing along [23] with his bellicose designs [24] on her country.
