The Kurdish Rights [1] website presents photos of the Nov. 1 global mobilization for Kobani from Paris, Valencia, Copenhagen, Perth, Melbourne, Washington DC, Honduras and Afghanistan—and "Amed, Northern Kurdistan (Diyarbakir, Southeastern Turkey)." A shot from Istanbul (above) shows elderly Kurdish women in traditional garb with posters in Turkish, Kurdish, Greek and Arabic. Another shot shows "Amazigh [Berbers] in Morocco in front of the Turkish embassy." We have also received images via Twitter from Afghanistan [2] (presumably Kabul); Mardin, Turkey [3]; and Buenos Aires [4]. A banner at a rally in Balochistan [5] (presumably in Pakistan) reads: "TODAY KURDISTAN, TOMORROW BALOCHISTAN."
